Chile care is provided on a limited basis and must be reserved no later than March 1. Care will be provided for children only while their parents are in sessions. Please complete all information and if lunch is needed for your child(ren) remit payment for lunch(es). Please provide all equipment and supplies (ie, diapers) labeled with your child's name when you arrive. Also, please provide your infant or toddler with a blanket for napping. Instead of using on-site childcare, parents may request reimbursement for child care (receipt required, $25 maximum per day).
Hotel Accommodations: We are holding a block of rooms at the Sheraton Hotel, Tacoma. If you wish to stay at the conference hotel, make reservations with the Sheraton (Phone # 206-572-3200 or 1-800-845-9466) no later than Feb 13. Be sure to specify that you are with the You Are the Expert Conference. Rates are $82.00 for single or double, and $10.00 per extra person. Call early if you need a barrier-free room. Scholarships may be requested from the Washington State Parent/Educator Partnership Project for parents of individuals with disabilities, and parent/educator teams. Scholarships/stipends can be used to reduce registration fees, or help cover travel or childcare expenses. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to new attendees. Scholarships are not available for Friday morning C.E.C. sessions or for the Coalition Awards luncheon Friday Afternoon.
Clock hours are pending thru Olympic ESD and college credit at Pacific Lutheran University. You may inquire at the CEC registration table for either of the forms needed.
